Um…I have a confession
The other night, Jon & I were laying in bed, snuggling. It’s our usual nighttime ritual. He and I spoon for a bit before going to sleep. That night, though, he said to me “Your hair smells really good, babe.” Normally you’d think it was my shampoo, but I’d just taken a bath (and hadn’t washed my hair!). I used my Avon Skin So Soft bath oil. I had my hair pulled up, but it always ends up a little wet. So I knew that was what he was smelling.
Since that’s the first time he’s made a comment like that, I went overboard. I went to Avon and bought the entire Soft & Sensual Skin So Soft line – bath foam, body lotion, body oil, body polish, hand lotion, etc. It arrived today. Now that I’m looking at the various bottles, I’m a little ashamed. Normally I don’t really care about other people’s opinions on most things, particularly my bath & body products or my clothing. I just wear what I like because I like it. But his opinion actually matters to me. I guess the good thing is that I like the scent before he said anything, and Avon’s expanded the line since I bought my bath oil.
This isn’t the only instance. He’s convinced me to get Terra Cotta planters for the garden. I bought an urn looking plastic planter for my gardenia tree and he hated it. So he bought me a new one, actually a set of 4. And they do look better. They are heavier though. I thought they were more expensive, but we got this set of 4 at Garden Ridge on sale for $14.95 or something like that. I still don’t listen to him about my clothing though.
